Scintillante travel clock
This oblong travel clock dating from 1934 consists of a dial inserted in a block of faceted rock crystal. This functional and decorative object echoes the diamond by its faceting, transparency, and the colorless rock crystal, with a variety of monocrystalline quartz used here. This reminder is found on the winding mechanism, which is adorned with a rose-cut diamond. In the Maison’s archives, this piece is named Scintillante (Resplendent), for it is a timepiece as precious as a gem.
