This 1941 wristwatch illustrates the success of the Ludo jewelry style in the years following its creation. It is a hybrid piece associating the sumptuousness of jewelry with the functional nature of a watch. It has an extremely flexible hexagonal briquette-mesh bracelet. Two crescent moon motifs flank the dial and the surrounding diamond paving. This decoration is composed with oval and round sapphires, and punctuated with rubies in closed setting.
